Deaf Disc Golf National Championship
Camp Taloali - OR23
Designed by Brenna DeBartolo
Welcome!
Camp Taloali is proud to announce that the Deaf Disc Golf Association National Championship will be held at the Camp Taloali Disc Golf Course at Camp Taloali near Stayton, Oregon on July 25th to 29th, 2023! Camp Taloali is 111 acres abutting the beautiful North Santiam River, with mixed meadows and forests. Camp Taloali is a non-profit camp, owned and operated by the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. We hold a summer camp program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, and also partner with NAD (National Association of the Deaf) who holds a 5-week Youth Leadership Camp for high school students from across the US and internationally. Many of these leaders have gone on to become pillars of their communities.
The Camp Taloali Disc Golf Course was founded and designed by members of our disc golf community and the course had risen to among the top in the state of Oregon. Money raised from the course donations and day use fees have gone on to help maintain the camp so that Deaf and Hard of Hearing children have a place to grow during the summer.
